What shall we start with skin? Well, the skin on my face anyway. Disclaimer: this is going to seem like a lot of steps, but I promise you it’s really not and it goes super quick! I have a base routine that I stick to, and depending on how my skin is feeling, I sub in different targeted products. Ready? Ok let’s go-

Step 1: I always start with Pai Rosehip Cleansing Oil- dry hands, dry face!- even if I have makeup on this is a great and gentle way to remove it, and it just feels so luxe rubbing this oil into your skin.

Step 2: Next I use Lernberger Stafsing Gel Cleanser, I always wash twice, I live in New York and the dirt seems to just never go away.

Step 3: About three times a week I use a gentle exfoliant- I love Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Enzyme Cleanser.

Step 4: Now that I’m squeaky clean, I apply an eye cream- I’m really into Bright Eyes Goldfaden MD right now. Soemtimes i notice dark circles under my eyes and this has really seemed to improve that.

Step 5: Next apply Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Hyaluronic Serum. I make sure to REALLY rub this is and make sure it’s fully absorbed.

Step 6: I like to switch up moisturizers for day and night- for the day I like something light- right now I’m using Eighth Day Lux Moisturizer. Even though it says ‘lux’ it’s light enough for day to go under sunscreen, makeup, etc. At night I like something a thicker- Dr. Barbara Sturm's (sorry but I’m addicted to her products) face cream rich is great. Also, sometimes I forgo moisturizer and use Supernal’s Cosmic Glow oil. Like I said, I like to switch it up and listen to my skin.

Step 7: If it’s day time, next comes sunscreen- I use Elta MD’s Broad Spectrum SPF 46. even in the winter I use sunscreen- this is SO important.

Step 8: Next for the daytime routine daytime- makeup. I don’t wear a ton of makeup everyday so this is going all in one step. I love Kajer Weiss’ cream foundation and cream blush. They are pigmented but still light enough that I don’t feel like I have a ton of makeup on my skin. I don’t wear mascara most days- usually only at night for events- but when I do I use Eyeko’s Rock Out and Lash Out mascara.

Step 3 1/2: Masks-Putting this down here because I put these on clean skin, but depends on how my skin is and what I have time for. I love Skin Design London’s Designer Balm. the directions say to leave this on for 15 and wash off- which is totally great- but if I have the time, say I’m working from home for the day, I’ll put a good layer of this on and leave on for a few hours. I’ve also recently been introduced to May Lindstrom’s The Blue Cocoon. Especially during these summer months when I can get too much sun some days, this is a miracle product.

Now for the skin on my BODY, I use Dr. Barbara Sturm’s anti-aging body cream, along with it being an amazing product, I love the scent. I’m also into Rosebud Woman’s whole line of products for my feminine areas.

As high maintenance as I am about my face, I’m pretty low maintenance with my hair. I’m really a wash-and-go type, and I love Virtue’s Recovery shampoo and conditioner.
